Back in Action

Now that I'm nearly back from death's doorstep, here are a few more pics of the adorable Charlie and his big sis Lily.

The Stinkin' Flu

During the past week, I have been to the hospital 5 times. So, it shouldn't be any big surprise that I contracted the flu. But, alas, I woke yesterday morning to full-blown flu symptoms. Last night was the worst night of my life in quite a while. I have been running a fever constantly since around 3 yesterday and it hasn't given up the fight yet. My head hurts so badly from coughing, that I fantasized about it falling off. And sleep is not an option. Whenever I lay down, I just continue to cough for hours. The forte of my night was when I was taking my third shower of the night (to break my fever) and I tripped getting out of the shower. Can you say large mark on forehead and splitting headache???? At any rate, I am stuck in this house feeling cold and hot at the same time, unable to breath properly and coughing 'til my guts hurt.

* sorry Bj and Marie, I haven't forgotten your fajitas. I will get to them when I am feeling better.
